Language

Due to the region between Bhagirathi and Madhumati, Narail Sadar upazila with the language of Nadia Shantipur region is a bit similar. The language of this upazila is very similar with the language of Khulna, Faridpur and Gopalganj districts. Narail sadar upazila is culturally rich. People of this upazila are generally non-communal, peaceful and visiting guests. From the ancient times, this upazila is well-known for the development of sports, literature and lyrics. World famous artist SM Sultan is the son of this upazila.
