Chitra, Madhumati and Nabaganga monorail Narail sadar is known as the natural beauty area. Jessore on the west, Magura on the north, Faridpur and Gopalganj on the east, Bagerhat and Khulna districts on the south. Narail is an ancient township. There were 0 large zamindars established by Kalisankar Roy and his successors near Narail Sadar City. Due to traditional and geographical reasons, this township has created many knowledgeable talent artists, literary and musicians. Their contributions are spread over national and international levels. Among them, the names of writers Nihar Ranjan Gupta, dancer Uday Shankar, Sitar player Ravi Shankar, composer Vijay Sarkar and Kamal Dasgupta, prosecutor Moslem Uddin, the minister of undivided Bengal Nowsher Ali and world famous painter SM Sultan can be mentioned specifically. The comprehensive development of current information technology has made every field of human life illuminated. In order to ensure greater public service in the initiative and management of Narail District Administration, this web site has been started in the district as part of building the information-based Bangladesh by implementing the present government's vision 2021.

Narail is a geographically small district, but the sports and cultural fields are very rich and prosperous. In each of the games held at national and international level, significant number of players from Narail are participating in the development of the district and the country. Narail subdivision was established in 1861 under the patronage of the zamindars, and in 1885 Victoria Collegiate School and its formula established Narail Victoria College in 1886. Victoria College's contribution to the freedom fighters of this upazila will be written on gold coins. Narail sadar upazila is the second largest liberation war of Bangladesh. About 2000 freedom fighters from the district took part in the liberation war and stripped the red sun of independence. 07 Lions of Bangladesh's Bir Shreshtha Late Nayek Noor Mohammad was born in Narail district.
During the war of liberation, the number of martyrs of Al Badar and Razakars in the district is not even less. It has been reported that about 2800 people were brutally killed on Pontoon of Launchghat on the bank of the river. Their families are still carrying those sad memories. Many mothers were lenched in the hands of the West Pakistani invaders and their collaborators. All of us have been blessed with peace and sympathy for all these heroic and disadvantaged mothers. Traditionally, people of this district are struggling. During the British period, 100 villages in Narail had indigo cultivation. Farmers of Narail district started the indigo revolt and people of this district played an important role in anti-British movement.

One-third of the people living in Narail district belong to the Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Indigenous communities. The communal harmony among the people of different faith groups is one of the characteristics of this district. People of all communities enjoy the pleasure of participating in the Eid, Pujarpana and Christmas ceremonies in spontaneous participation, which play an important role in establishing peace, discipline, stability and unity in the larger society. The overall law and order situation of this district is normal. Peaceful co-location exists in the district, without any efforts, in all the efforts of the party.
